Pearl Electric is the major constitutor and reviser of 37 existing national and trade standards, contributing 10 patents for invention, 36 utility model patent licensing, 7 software copyright approval registration and over 30 technical papers, in command of the industry technology as the forerunner.

Pearl Electric established Post-Doctoral Scientific Research Workstation, Guangdong Province Academician and Experts Workstation, Guangdong Province Engineering Technology Research Center, Guangdong Province Enterprise Technology Research Center and Guangzhou municipal Enterprise Technology Research Center, ranking the top in the field of transformer technology research and innovation. Water cooling transformer ZPSCS broke up technology monopoly of foreign countries as the first Chinese transformer served for the third-generation nuclear power AP1000 system.
