The project of nuclear station safety class dry-type transformer key technical research from Pearl Electric was rewarded by the title of “China Excellent Technology” in the year of 2019.
The nuclear station safety class dry-type transformer researched and developed by Pearl Electric, as one of representative of nuclear class equipment, is the most difficult type of dry-type transformer with highest requirement, which is known as the pearl on the crown of dry-type transformer. This project has been pass the national appraisal of China Machinery Industry Federation and has been highly appraised by the experts at the council as "the technical indicators of the prototype are at the leading domestic and international level of similar products".
The successful R & D of this project has enabled the company to obtain the world's second and China's first export Hualong-1 project, and successively won the bidding for Jiangsu Tianwan nuclear power plant, Fujian Fuqing nuclear power plant, Zhejiang Qinshan nuclear power plant, Liaoning Hongyanhe nuclear power plant, Guangxi Fangchenggang nuclear power plant and other projects. With good performance, all these project consolidate pearl electric’s leading position in the field of safety class dry-type transformers for nuclear power plants.
